Breathe.



            The first time he hugged her, it wasn't a well thought over move. He had just laid his eyes on her after one year, four months, two weeks and six days, with her (big, violet, apologizing) eyes boring into his, drinking in all the changes he had undergone, and silently hoping he would forgive her for not being there.
            Then, he hugged her; not lightly, but not bone – crushing either. Her breath hitched as she realised she was forgiven, and he knew she knew that he was glad that she was back. Damn glad.
            But she didn’t know just how glad he was.

            He was alive again.
